Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka
A special screening of environment and wildlife films was held at the sprawling campus of Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka on December 20 and 21, 2013 in collaboration with CMS VATAVARAN for students and parents. The film screenings were held in commemoration of the 10th year of CMS VATAVARAN.
Two film screening sessions were held on Day 1, December 20 for junior and senior classes respectively. Four films- Platform No. 5 by C Vanaja Kumari, Why Don't we Ride Zebras? By Hannah Smith Walker, Kosi: Injustice with Millions of Villagers and Revolt by Kosi River by Vishaal Nityanand and Goa Goa Gone by Kurush Canteenwala were screened for the senior students to sensitise them about the issues of environment and wildlife conservation.
Bee by Steve Hickner and Simon J Smith and a 1 min film, Rainwater Harvesting by Raghu Gopalan were screened for the junior students.
A special one hour film screening was also held for parents of the SVIS' students on December 21, 2013 at the campus and various classrooms. Gaur in my Garden by Rita Banerji, Leave Nothing But Footprints by Sanjay Barnela and Shelter by Raghu Gopalan.
