Packed with information and entertainment, with a tinge of outdoor activities, the children's section has the right stuff to keep the young champs going for five days. In addition to green film screenings there will be competitions, music concerts and workshops for the young delegates. One lawn is dedicated solely to the programmes and activities for children and youth. The infotainment programmes includes:
- Film screenings for children: The film screenings for children will be held in Young Champions Lawns. A fun-filled 90 min slot will comprise of film screenings and interactive sessions with filmmaker.
- Filmmaking and editing workshop: A day-long filmmaking workshop will provide best of all worlds - focused learning, hands-on- lm shoot and an opportunity to make a fully realised film. The films thus produced will be screened in the festival.
- Music concert/ competition: An eco-music competition will involve performances by youth and school music bands on the theme "Biodiversity Conservation.
- Photography competition: School children will be encouraged to express their creativity through display of outstanding collection of contemporary, creative, resonant, original and thought-provoking photographs on the biodiversity theme.
- Biodiversity quiz: : To test the biological diversity awareness an inter-schools' quiz competition on the biodiversity theme will be conducted during the festival.
