7th CMS VATAVARAN Environment and Wildlife Film Festival and Forum 2014

Curtain raiser Screenings of CMS VATAVARAN 2014 Award winning Films for IHC Film Club members at India Habitat Centre from May 20, 2014, Tuesday. These screenings are open for all. CMS VATAVARAN organized screenings of 02 award winning films "Timbaktu" (directed by Ms Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh) and "Chilka - Jewel of Odisha" (directed by Mr Shekar Dattatri) on May 21, 2014, Wednesday at Gulmohar Hall, IHC, Lodhi Road, New Delhi from 07:00 pm onwards.

Around 100 members witnessed the screenings. Filmmaker Ms Rintu Thomas was present for the Q&A sessions.

Film "Timbaktu" won the Climate Change & Sustainable Technologies Award and Film "Chilka - Jewel of Odisha" won the Biodiversity Award in the Indian Category in 7th CMS VATAVARAN 2014.

Our next screening at IHC is on May 30, 2014, Friday. On this day we are screening "Dammed" (directed by Mr Nandan Saxena and Ms Kavita Bahl). All are cordially invited in the screening.
