CMSVATAVARAN 3 Minute Short Film Competition on Biodiversity

The main objective of the Short Film competition is to promote our biological natural legacy i.e. the ecosystems, the habitats, and the different species of fauna and flora. The idea behind this film competition is to raise conservation issues and to start a discourse about the importance living in harmony with our nature. Therefore, the theme of this competition is BIODIVERSITY

To enter in this competition, create a film no longer than 3 minutes in duration. Films can be submitted in one of the following four categories:

• School & College Students
• Amateurs
• Film Professionals

The winner of each category will receive a certificate and the winning film will be hosted on CMS VATAVARAN websites and its social media platforms.

COMPETITION OUTLINE

• Entry is free, and is open for all.
• All films must be made specifically in the month of May or June 2020.
• Films must be no longer than 3 minutes, including credits that should not extend longer than 15 seconds.
• Four genres are accepted: Narrative, Documentary, Animation and Fiction.
• Original Music Scores and film footage are encouraged. If not, the participants must provide the necessary authorization for using others copyrighted materials
• The winners will be announced on July 7, 2020 over CMS VATAVARAN website and social media platforms.
