This film talks about coexistence.

The fact that humans are threatening the delicate balance of life on the planet.

Earth's species are concentrated in 25 zones of ecological significance known as biodiversity hotspots, and this includes oceans as well.

From coral reefs to recently discovered hydrothermal vents, the oceans contain vast numbers of endangered species. We are rapidly losing these unique, irreplaceable treasures.

What's in it for us if we intervene to halt this mass extinction?

The film depicts Jonas, a sensitive young man who comes from a fishermen's family, discovers a huge dead whale on the beach, harpooned from every side.

His guts are shaken in the face of this slaughter, he feels the pain it has been through. He is then torn between his traditions and his empathy for Nature.
