Ludhiana & Amritsar 2026
Hawa, Paani, Zameen – Punjab Rakhe Haseen is a school-focused environmental education initiative implemented in collaboration with the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, organised by CMS VATAVARAN, and supported by the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Punjab.
Under the Environment Compensation Funds, this initiative promotes hands-on, experiential learning for school students—encouraging them to understand, observe, and act on real environmental challenges.
The programme focuses on three critical environmental themes:
Through workshops and competitions, students develop scientific thinking, environmental awareness, and leadership skills for a sustainable future.
It will be a fully hands-on, interactive session where students work in small groups using a citizen science approach—observing, recording, and discussing environmental issues in their own city.
The three themes of air, water, and waste will be connected throughout the day.
Students will write and present an original poem based on themes of air, water, or waste. The poem must be self-written and performed live by the student. Participants will present their poems before the jury within the given time limit.
