Ludhiana witnessed a powerful surge of youthful environmental spirit as the two-day school programme Hawa, Paani, Zameen β Punjab Rakhe Haseen was held on 16β17 April 2026 at the Atal Lab, Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, Ludhiana. Organised under the Environment Compensation Funds by the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST), with support from the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Punjab, and implemented by CMS VATAVARAN, New Delhi in partnership with ASAR's Clean Air Punjab, the programme brought together an extraordinary community of young change-makers from across the district.
Workshop on Air & Water Pollution & Waste Management equipped students & teachers with the knowledge and awareness to understand the environmental challenges facing their communities. Students participated in Prithvi de Bol Poetry Competition presenting original poems in Punjabi, Hindi and English. The Waste to Best Innovative Challenge stunned judges and audiences alike by crafting remarkable models and solutions entirely from waste materials, proving that innovation needs no expensive resources, only imagination and resolve.
