Assam LiFE for Nature Summit || CMS VATAVARAN

The Assam LiFE for Nature Summit is part of a national effort to advance climate-ready and nature-positive development across India. This summit will gather leaders from government, global organizations, civil society, science, media, and youth to shape practical solutions for Assam's environmental priorities. The focus areas include river and wetland protection, flood and disaster resilience, forest and wildlife conservation, nature-based rural livelihoods, and community-driven climate action.

The summit will feature leadership sessions, Green Ambassador recognition, policy roundtables, media engagement, and youth and community participation. It is organized by CMS VATAVARAN in collaboration with The Habitat Trust, and supported by MoEFCC, UNEP India, IUCN-CEC, #NatureForAll, and UNWFP, along with key state partners in Assam. The goal is to bring people, policy, and nature together to strengthen Assam's path toward a resilient and sustainable future.
