Breath of Change Future Media Workshop on Air Pollution Reporting at ISOMES Noida

As part of the Breath of Change campaign by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), CMS VATAVARAN organized an immersive media workshop at ISOMES Noida on August 21, 2025.

The workshop brought together media students, who developed fresh story ideas on air pollution and clean air solutions.

Highlights Included:

• Dr. Prachi Goyal (Clean Air Asia) breaking down the science of air pollution
• Manish Chandra Mishra (Mongabay-India) on ethics in environmental journalism
• Pankaj Kumar (India TV) on newsroom practices and pitching air stories

Facilitated by CMS VATAVARAN’s team, the sessions sparked active dialogue, sharp questions, and collaborative storytelling. By the end of the day, students pledged to take forward impactful reporting on clean air, proving that youth voices can drive both awareness and action.
