Generation Green: Voices for Action
A Workshop Series on Youth Capacity Building for Communicating Climate and Environment Action
Generation Green is a workshop series that strengthens how young people communicate climate and environmental issues in Punjab, Maharashtra, and Telangana. Students learn to shape meaningful stories, present facts clearly, and build reports that create awareness and influence their communities.
This initiative is supported by the High Commission of Canada and conducted by CMS VATAVARAN, along with journalists, communication experts, and climate educators.
What Participants Gain

- Tools to create sharp digital content for social media, podcasts, and videos
- A stronger understanding of Indo–Canadian cooperation on climate action
- Hands-on practice through short activities and group storytelling tasks

Each workshop runs for half a day and is led by experienced journalists, communication trainers, and partners from the High Commission of Canada.
