This session brought together students to explore practical approaches to environmental storytelling through mobile journalism (MoJo). Participants were introduced to innovative ways of reporting climate and environmental issues using accessible digital tools, while maintaining accuracy, ethics, and impact.
The workshop focused on building hands-on skills in capturing, producing, and sharing compelling stories using mobile devices. Students learned how to translate complex environmental challenges into engaging, relatable narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
They also gained insights into tackling misinformation, understanding the role of artificial intelligence in media, and ensuring responsible communication in the digital age. The session encouraged participants to think critically, communicate effectively, and use storytelling as a tool to inspire awareness and action on climate and environmental issues.
