Raipur CMS VATAVARAN
Raipur CMS VATAVARAN was held from January 15 - 18, 2015 (Thursday - Sunday).
The festival was declared open on January 15, 2015 by the Hon'ble Chief Guest Dr Sachchidanand Joshi, Vice Chancellor, Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism & Mass Communication, Raipur. Three people were awarded at the event with green ambassador awards for their remarkable contribution in the environment field.
The festival comprised of inauguration, felicitation of green ambassadors, panel discussion, green filmmaking workshop and film screenings. The festival was held in different locations to facilitate the participation of audience of different kind in large numbers i.e. schools and college students, civil societies, government officials, jail inmates, underprivileged children, general public, media, etc.
Overall 9620 people participated in this festival. Various state government departments, civil societies, academic institutions and media organisations from Raipur supported us in this endeavour.
