CMS Environment and PANOS South Asia are pleased to announce that following winners have been chosen by the jury for 2011 awards:

CMS Young Environment Journalist Awards 2011 received tremendous response from print and electronic journalists throughout the country. Following journalists have qualified for the second and final round of selection. There work samples and clips will now be presented to an eminent jury, which will select the winners.
CMS Young Environment Journalist Awards 2011 are for excellence in environmental journalism and are given to an individual who has done exemplary investigative and inspired reporting on environmental issues in the country. This is a countrywide recognition of journalists (21-35 years of age) who have made a significant contribution in either the print or electronic media to an understanding of the nation's environmental problems. Last date for application was November 15, 2011
