Summary: This is an introductory episode of CFSI’s environmental teleserial titled ‘Baldoot’. The film through environment theme song, based on Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s poem, stresses to protect the environment and appeals to be simple like our country’s soil, water, forests etc.

Producer’s/Director’s Profile: Sai Paranjpye is currently the chairperson of the CFSI, a Government of India organisation with the objective of promoting and ensuring value based entertainment for children. She has previously worked with Doordarshan Kendra in Delhi as a director, and has been actively involved with Marathi and Hindi Theatre. To date, she has written and directed six feature films, two children’s films and five documentaries. Her work has received due recognition with National Awards.
