Summary: The film is on Makran town in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur Nagaur District. Makrana became the marble capital of the world propelled by the fame of Taj Mahal. Looking at the vast marble quarries, “The whole world looks at Taj and wants to save it also. Nobody looks at us, the people, who still suffer for Taj’s pride.” No compassion for poor mine workers, its residence for so many fighting against slow death every day. Marble is death sentence for Makrana.
