9th CMS VATAVARAN – International Film Festival & Forum on Environment and Wildlife.
The 9th CMS VATAVARAN International Environment and Wildlife Film Festival and Forum, a celebration of 5 days will be starting from November 2-6, 2017 in Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, New Delhi.

The screening of 113 Nominated films from both national and overseas will be every day. The jury nominated and handpicked these films from the 686 film entries.
Several interesting endeavors on the theme ‘Conservation for Water’ apart from film screenings like seminars, workshops, exhibition, and award ceremony focusing on the environmental, social and economic aspects of water conservation will be part of the film festival and forum. Contemporary issues related to water and conservation will be deliberated upon by eminent conservationists, policy makers, environment journalists and the concerned communities in the forum. The Festival is curated with the best itinerary for Students, Filmmakers, Environmentalist, and Media persons to interact with nature.
CMS VATAVARAN aims to create awareness and sensitize people through films and discussions regarding water conservation and the inter-connectedness of climate change and water, water struggles in a world dealing with global warming, climate variability, biodiversity loss, and environmental damage.
The festival is supported and partnered by Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change, National Geographic, UNESCO, GSDS, Doordarshan, Down to Earth, National Museum of Natural History, UNDP, Wildlife Conservation Trust, CSE, Sony, WWF, Amity University, TERI University, India Climate Dialogue, The Third Pole and Delhi Greens.
