PSCST–CMS VATAVARAN Environment Film Festival & Forum on LiFE, Moga

The Environment Festival: Films for Sustainable Lifestyles is a two-day environmental film festival scheduled to be held on February 3–4, 2026, in Moga, Punjab. The festival is jointly organised by CMS VATAVARAN and the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST) under the framework of Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) and the Environment Education Programme (EEP), with ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga and Clean Air Punjab as programme partners.
Responding to Punjab’s pressing environmental challenges—groundwater depletion, air pollution, and waste management—the festival will engage school and college students through thought-provoking film screenings, moderated discussions, and interactive masterclasses, fostering action-oriented learning and dialogue.

Core Focus Areas

  • Water Conservation
  • Clean Air
  • Waste Segregation & Circular Economy Practices

The programme will focus on three core themes: water conservation, clean air, and waste segregation and circular economy practices. The festival will culminate in collective Mission LiFE and Vayu Mitra pledges, encouraging young people to adopt and promote sustainable lifestyle choices in their daily lives.
