Pratiksha Gogai, Researcher

She was program associate in Conservation Education Division of Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE). She was also Environment Research Officer (Environment Impact Assessment Div.) in Grass Roots Research and Creative Pvt. Ltd. (GRC). She has planned and developed various vocational programs on bio-resources, natural resources and environmental resources for the school students. Programs were aimed towards developing comprehensive understanding of environmental issues that face humanity. She was also responsible for a program called DNA Clubs Program which helps the students to expose to different equipment, technologies and methods that cannot be replicated at the level of individual schools it has been considered necessary as this will encourage bright young minds to consider taking up careers in relevant fields of biotechnology and world of science.

She assisted in carrying out Environment Impact Assessment for projects like construction sectors and solid wastes. She is also responsible for a project called Friendship Cup 2009: India and Switzerland which helps the students to know both the country in deeper way. Different activities are conducted among all level of students from different sectors of schools i.e. government, government aided, private, convent schools. She has been handling programmes and reports of CMS VATAVARAN and CMS Environment. She is post graduate in environmental sciences from Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune and environmental science graduate from Delhi University. She also has environmental law diploma from the World Wide Fund for Nature
