As part of the plenary session of the IFEJ Congress, the IFEJ and CMS Academy of Communication and Convergence Studies in collaboration with trainers from the Norway are facilitating a training of journalists - including the media studies faculty and a few students - in tools like using the web for investigative journalism and the use of Excel.

This training will equip many journalists, mainly from India but also from South Asian and possibly South East Asian countries as well, to use the web and understand a variety of software and their applications.
