"Environment has become a nodal issue
for everyone and it cut across all other issues. Issues like climate change
and global warming are affecting each and every part of the world. Through
VATAVARAN several burning issues in our contemporary world pertaining to
environment, wildlife, natural resources and health are highlighted and
widely disseminated. I congratulate the CMS-VATAVARAN team for their collective
efforts in making this festival a success year after year."

Established in 1991, CMS is an independent, non-profit and multi-disciplinary organisation dedicated to research-driven initiatives that enable policy makers make informed decisions on development and social change. CMS is recognised for its rigourous study methodologies, the innovative approaches it brings to research initiatives and for the credibility of its findings.
Over the past two decades, CMS has carved a niche for itself in areas such as social research, social development studies and strategies for environment protection, communication studies, public opinion research, training and performance appraisal. CMS VATAVARAN film festival is yet another well-known endeavour over the past seven years.
