Young Environment Journalist Award

In each competitive festival, the Young Environment Journalist Award is presented to a journalist who has done exemplary investigative and inspired reporting on environmental issues, and made a significant contribution in either the print or electronic media to an understanding of the nation’s environmental problems. Environment journalists, Bahar Dutt (CNN-IBN), Amarjyoti Borah (Freelancer), Aarti Dhar (The Hindu), Pierre Fitter (NEWSX), Soma Basu (The Statesman), Manu C Kumar (Manorama News), Juhi Chaudhury (CNN IBN) and Chandan Haygunde (Indian Express), Pritha Chatterjee (Indian Express), Annirudh Ghosal (Indian Express) & Manu Moudgil (India Water Portal) were some of the winners of this Award.
